About

What I do

I study how the Earth's surface changes over recent and geological timescales. I like to research questions like:

  • What causes landscapes to uplift and why?

  • How does glacial retreat change erosional processes?

  • Can we accurately trace the source of sediments?

  • Can we create new and exciting ways of studying rocks and their minerals?

I do this with a wide range of tools such as:

  • Low-temperature thermochronology

  • Geochronology

  • Apatite geochemistry

  • Drone photogrammetry and Lidar

  • Landscape evolution modeling

  • Cosmogenic Nuclide Dating
